Those of us who love flowers are always on the search from something that brings a new smell into the home. While some flowers are very beautiful, it is disappointing when they have little, if any scent. What’s a flower without its pleasant aroma? Well, these are a few of the most potent, best smelling flowers I have found so far.

 The Sweet Alyssum grows as tiny clusters of very tiny flowers. Although they are tiny, they have a wonderful scent that can be smelled clearly in the air near the area they are growing. They are quite simple to grow and will last a long time when picked and placed in a vase inside the home.

The Chocolate Cosmo is one of the most delightful smelling flowers. While I’ve never grown them, they honestly smell like a sweet scent of vanilla with a chocolate hint. They have almost brown leaves which I’m not a fan of for my garden, but they are a great plant to put in your home for fragrance.

 Many people are already familiar with the scent of sweet pea. The scent is now available as a lotion, spray, soap and other beauty items. Well, if you’re a fan of the sweet pea line, you’ll benefit from growing your own sweet peas. They smell just like the fragrances, if not better, and are a very potent flower. Of all the flowers in my garden, I often smell the scent of my sweet pea flowers over all of the other flowers growing in the area.
